Topic: Some believe that in the next 100 years most people will have a better life, while others disagree. What is your opinion?

There is a general opinion that the quality of life will improve for a majority of the people in the coming centuries. I personally agree with this statement because of constant technological improvements and advancements in the medical field.

To initiate, we many probably be living in a fully automated world in the coming centuries where most of the mundane work is done by computers. Mankind may have to only supervise these machines, thereby leaving them with more quality time for themselves, their friends and families. Hence, man may get more time to exercise, grow chemical free, pure, organic food, enjoy their hobbies and so on. For example: entire offices, manufacturing units and so on may be controlled by super computers which can be monitored from the comfort of homes, so humans don’t have to waste time and energy commuting to work. They can use this time to work out, read, paint, trek and so on, thereby improving the quality of their existence.

Moreover, there are already so many breakthroughs in the medical field enabling people with ailments like cancer and arthritis to lead pain-free lives. These technologies are only going to improve in the coming 100 years, so people may live longer and healthier without suffering pain or limitations due to old age. For example: it is quite possible that people in their 80s and 90s will be running marathons with the fitness levels of 25- and 30-year olds, 100 years from now due to breakthroughs in the medical field.

In conclusion, we are already leading such comfortable lives in the 21st century, so considering the pace at which technology is improving, we can definitely look towards leading more comfortable lives in the future.
